Smyth County Family Physicians
Smyth County Family Physicians is a family practice. Family Practice is a specialty which places a unique emphasis on the family unit. Our mission is to provide comprehensive primary care for children, adolescents and adults. We wish to provide a whole-person orientation to providing integrated and coordinated patient care. Our focus is on quality care and safety.
Each of our physicians completed a three year Family Practice residency program during which we were trained in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Dermatology and minor surgery. Rather than having two or three different doctors care for your family, a family practitioner can take care of each member of the family, from newborn children to great grandparents. Should you need to see a specialist, your Family Physician can refer you to the one which would be most appropriate for you.
